Wentworth House Partnership , senior engineer
Adrian joined Wentworth House Partnership in January 2018 after 8 years working in both commercial and academia environments in Romania. Current work includes advanced 3D FE modelling, including Tideway super-sewer project, and Tottenham Football Stadium. During both Bachelor and Master diploma works, Adrian focused his attention on the efficiency of advanced geotechnical numerical modelling and its impact on the design output. His geotechnical background is based on laboratory testing, in situ investigations, design and monitoring of existing structures. Adrian participated within the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest, Romania team during R&D projects founded by European Space Agency and Romanian Space Agency, aiming at the satellite utilisation for geotechnical hazard detection (ILUSTRO – Integrated landslide detection system using ground and space-borne monitoring techniques in Romania; SIRYS - Integrated service for urban subsidence phenomena based on space-borne interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) and hydrogeological-geotechnical hybrid modelling).
