Tideway East , temporary works design manager
Xavier is a French engineer with Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree in thermal sciences and 4 years’ experience with major infrastructure projects. Following some experience in research in the energy sector, he moved to Qatar for the Doha metro project with Vinci Construction Grands Projets to control design coordination between contractors such as TBM break-out and dismantling in stations, interface with the railway systems contractors etc. Following this first experience in civil engineering, he joined Taylor Woodrow on the Crossrail West Stations project. He is currently responsible of the Temporary Works design on the Thames Tideway Tunnel Project (East Contract) at the Greenwich Pumping Station site for the Joint Venture Costain, Vinci CGP and Bachy Soletanche. Xavier is involved in the development of various items, including site and geotechnical works installations, acoustic shed design, assessment and protection of existing buried assets.
